Bike Skills Rodeo- A Fun Learning Experience for Bike Riders of All Ages!

The Mankato Clinic, Orthopaedic and Fracture Clinic and Greater Mankato Bike & Walk Advocates will be hosting a Bike Skills Rodeo on Saturday,September 19th at the Children’s Health Center on the Wickersham Health Campus from 9am-Noon. This event is free and open to the public!
Do you know all you need to know to safely ride a bike with traffic?
Do you feel you know enough to teach your children how to ride cautiously when they are on their own?
Join us on Saturday, September 19th anytime between 9am-Noon; we will have certified instructors and volunteers on hand teaching bicycling safety skills. There will be a skills course with several on-bike stations that teach kids and adults better bike handling skills. The safety skills course will tak about one hour to complete.

Bike helmet adjusting- Bike checks- Starting and Stopping- Balancing, scanning and signaling- Turning and yielding- Entering the road
Bring your bikes and helmets (helmets are required to participate). Parents- you can participate right along with your kids!
Mankato Clinic Children’s Health Center is on the Wickersham Health Campus- 1421 Premier Drive, Mankato- on the corner of Highway 22N and Country Road 26.
